Hong Kong, 9 May 2023 – The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) today will be co-hosting "Navigating the Future of Impact Investing in Asia," a ground-breaking conference at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Connect Hall.
The event will bring together leading impact investors, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across Asia to discuss the current state of impact investing. It will also explore the opportunities and challenges facing the industry in the region.
Impact investments are investments made with the intention of generating positive social and environmental impact alongside a financial return, comprising $1.164 trillion USD globally, according to the GIIN. As the industry grows in Asia, there is a need for greater collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders. "Navigating the Future of Impact Investing in Asia" aims to address this need by providing a platform for experts to share their insights and experiences, and discuss how to drive greater impact through investments in the region.
