FSDC Industry Exchange Series – Insuring Success: Enabling Sustainable Growth and Innovation to Cement Hong Kong’s Role as a Premier Global Insurance Hub
Insurance plays a pivotal role beyond the financial services industry, with significant implications for the sustainable development of our society. As a prominent international financial centre in the Asia Pacific region, Hong Kong has firmly established itself as a premier global insurance hub. This position has attracted many leading international insurance firms to establish their Asia regional headquarters in the city.
Leveraging this strong foundation, the industry also acknowledges the efforts of the Government and regulators in expanding the city’s insurance and risk management capabilities. From forging stronger ties with Mainland China and international markets to attracting world-class talent, driving technological breakthroughs, and unlocking seamless data access, the Government signals Hong Kong’s unrelenting ambition to lead the global insurance stage.
To further enhance the sophistication of Hong Kong’s insurance ecosystem, the FSDC formed a Working Group to develop strategic guidance and policy recommendations. You are cordially invited to attend the Industry Exchange Series webinar, where our distinguished speakers will discuss the opportunities for Hong Kong to enhance the growth of the insurance industry and outline the steps the city can take to solidify its role as a premier global insurance hub.
