Synopsis:
Art and collectibles are an important asset class among family office principals and beneficiaries. According to Deloitte Private, art and collectibles-associated wealth of ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) was around US$2.2 trillion in 2022, and such wealth could reach US$2.9 trillion in 2026, resulting from the increased number of UHNWIs globally and their increased wealth allocation to art and collectibles. This explains why the Financial Services Development Council, together with its newly setup subsidiary Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy, is devoting further resources to this topic.
This engaging panel discussion brings together leading experts in the field to explore the increasing interest of family offices in art and collectibles/ as investment assets.
